HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?

WHAT IS IN THE BOX?
Box produce is pre-selected based on seasonal availability from our growers. You will have the choose of a bunch of greens to add to your box. You will have the opportunity when collecting your box to access a swap table to exchange anything you don’t want that week.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY BOX?
Boxes are collected from Fossey's Gin - front foyer, 110 Eighth Street, Mildura on Thursdays between 2.00-6.00pm.
HOW WILL I REMEMBER?
You will receive a text message reminder every Thursday morning.
Important information is sent via e-news on the Wednesday before you pick up your box, including whats in the box, some recipes, grower updates and local food stories.
WHAT IF I FORGET?
If you are unable to collect your box during the allocated times, it will be stored for you at Fossey's Gin until 5pm Friday. After this time your box will be donated to a local soup kitchen. No reimbursement will be offered for uncollected boxes.
Please note we are unable to guarantee freshness and quality of produce if collected after Thursday. You will not have access to the swap table if your box is collected after Thursday’s pick up.
WHAT IF I GO ON HOLIDAYS?
Out of the Box aims to create a regular and predictable income source for our small scale farmers. By guaranteeing a weekly or fortnightly order, for a number of boxes that remains relatively stable, we are allowing our growers to invest more into their growing and minimising the risk, as there is a guaranteed buy each week from us.
This is why we ask you if possible, if you are unable to collect your box on a given week, that you see if you can find a friend or family member to take it. You can also post on our facebook page to see if anyone out there would like your box (and arrange the financials between you.)
This also minimises the administration required at our end, and being community run this is most helpful!
As well as supporting growers, we want Out of the Box to be flexible and accessible for the customer. We have now developed some instructions on how to manage your subscription (see next question), if you need to cancel for any reason, or are going away for an extended period of time, you can opt to skip weeks when required as a last resort.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY SUBSCRIPTION?
You can manage your subscription by logging in. Options available are to change box sizes, skip a week if you are away, and cancel with the option or resuming at any time. Here are some further instructions.

WE SUPPORT CLOVE ORGANICS?
The collaboration between Out of the Box and Clove Organics is based on shared values of social justice, supporting regenerative farming practices, minimising waste and packaging, eliminating plastic, and working together.
IS YOUR PRODUCE ORGANIC?
We are currently working on developing a regional organic certification for local small-scale farmers. Out of the Box highly values transparency with our customers, and we work closely with our growers to limit chemical use on our produce. Although some of our growers are certified organic, others are not. Therefore, we cannot guarantee strictly no presence of chemicals on our produce due to issues beyond our control such as spray drift and traces from former farming methods. On the occasion that we are aware of any chemical exposure, you will be notified.
